This week we are featuring the fabulous Dickie Lake. It has a great location with easy access to Baysville, Huntsville and Bracebridge. This lake is primarily spring fed and drains into the South Muskoka River. Its shallow bays provide an excellent habitat for fish such as northern pike, largemouth bass, and brook trout.

Dickie Lake is perfect if you are looking for some peace and quiet while you are at the cottage. The lake only allows smaller boats and canoes on the water. You won’t need to worry about all the extra noise that comes from having a lot of bigger boats passing by. So grab a drink and head down to the water's edge where you can watch the sunset and sink into the amazing sights and sounds of the lake.
